Copy and Paste Widgets Across Tabs in Dashboards
Tommy Martin
When building dashboards, It can be time consuming creating new modules, and setting up filters/visible fields/column widths etc.
Being able to copy a module (particularly a Grid View) and paste it in a different tab would be fantastic.
Notion allows you to duplicate/copy/paste "Linked Databases" the same way I've described this.

Great to hear your perspective, Tommy Martin! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you find yourself needing to copy and paste modules across different tabs?
- Are there specific types of modules, other than Grid View, that you would like to copy and paste?
- Would you prefer the copied module to retain all settings, or are there specific settings you would like to adjust after pasting?

- With all the new features coming over the years, the way we use dashboards will evolve and change. So I feel dashboards will constantly get updated and copy/pasting new changes quickly would be useful.
- Kanban View when it comes out, but otherwise no. Just Grid View would be great.
- I would expect the copied module to be an exact duplicate or the original. From there I would make changes as needed. The primary benefit to the copy/paste is to save time on the building and the number of clicks required to get a full module built out.

I miss this functionality as well and would like to able to use it on all kinds of widgets. At the moment I mostly use
