Embedding a Smartsuite grid

Satyam Chaturvedi
Hi
I am embedding a smartsuite grid view report on Softr, but after embedding, the "View Larger Version" text appears below the report. This allows the report to open in a new tab without permission, and the embedded link is also visible in search results. As a result, anyone can access the report through this link.
I want to embed this report so that only specific individuals can view it, ensuring that it cannot be shared with others, nor can anyone else view it without signing into the Softr portal.

Option to hide 'view larger version' link in embed code

Would be good to have the option to hide the 'view larger version' link that is at the bottom of a shared view when using embed code. If we use the embed code on our intranet, we don't want people being able to easily access the full link which could then potentially be shared with others outside of our company. The 'view larger version' link gives them access to do this.

Hello Sarah Humphries! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more context on how often your team uses the 'view larger version' feature?
- Are there any other features in the embed code that you would like to have control over visibility?
- Could you clarify if there are any specific security concerns related to the 'view larger version' link being shared outside the company?

1 - nobody is using it as we don't want it available therefore would use the embed code option because of this
2 - other areas seem to have enough control
3 - yes the data is not secure at all if someone clicks that link as it can then be shared anywhere with anyone and it is confidential client, project and company data that would then mean potential breach of contract and data security policies

Great to hear your perspective, Satyam Chaturvedi! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about the specific individuals who should have access to the report? Are they part of a specific group or role?
- Could you clarify how you envision the sign-in process to the Softr portal for these specific individuals?
- Are there any other features or restrictions you would like to have for the embedded report?

Hi Thanks for reply Jon Darbyshire
Each individual on the Softr portal has a designated user group, granting them access to specific reports. This setup is managed entirely within Softr, requiring no additional configurations in SmartSuite.
The sign-in process is pre-established, allowing users to log in via their email ID.
Additionally, I want to ensure that when embedding a grid view, the "View Larger Version" option is disabled, preventing users from opening the view in a new tab or sharing the embed link. This will restrict unauthorized access.
