For example, if I create a record/task that repeats daily, I want the option to view x number of future instances for that task.

This is especially useful in calendar view so you can see all your upcoming tasks for the week/month without needing to create each one individually.

Good suggestion. Clickup has a view of recurring tasks but it's never loaded for me. Ever.

How many future instances would you typically want to view at once?
Would you like the option to customize the frequency of these future instances (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly)?
Is there a specific way you would like these future tasks to be displayed in the calendar view?

Hi Jon Darbyshire,

It depends on the frequency of the task. If its a daily task, I would like to see up to all instances for the month (31 instances). If it's a weekly task, I would like to see all 4 instances of the month, if it's a monthly task, I would like to be able to see the 12 instances of the year, etc. You can compare it to a Microsoft Teams calendar, for example, with recurring meetings.
Yes, I would like the option to select the frequency.
These tasks can be displayed the same as how they are currently displayed in the calendar view, the only difference would be that you can see the same task appear on multiple future dates.
