Sorted, filtered, grouped Grid View - publish as PDF in automation

I really need to generate a report of aggregated records which i can publish automatically and email out via an automation. I have been struggling with the need to have a good old-fashioned report generator. In Grid View can setup a sorted, filtered and grouped view, but there is no way to publish this, as publishing from grid view does not respect grouping. The best I can come up with is taking a screen shot of a grid view which does not lend itself to automation or to data longer than my screen. Note the attached file. I need a report that looks and totals columns like this. I would also like to have a widget that would let me embed a view like this on our website.

I just noticed in grid view there is what appears to be an updated share/embed option, or maybe I just never noticed the share's full functionality. I tested the share embed code for a gridview on a website and that functionality works great! Thank you SmartSuite!! I have not tested the share to a device that does not have SmartSuite installed, but I am assuming that works as well.

Hello Gary Ford! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on the specific data fields you would like to include in the report?
- What frequency would you like the report to be automatically generated and emailed?
- Could you elaborate on the functionality of the widget you mentioned for embedding the view on your website?

Jon Darbyshire I am not particularly good at articulating my thoughts, the best I can do on something like this is to give you a mark up. Please note the attachment. Feel free to contact me directly for a chat if needed. You are old enough, that you may remember a CPM based "file management system" called FMS-80. FMS-80 was decades ahead of its time as a "low" code relational database. It had hooks everywhere so you could add code if needed, but right out of the box you could setup relationships and generate reports with an outstanding report generator. It was an amazing example of a one-man shop Pre-PC software that would still be relevant today had it survived the onslaught of free Dbase with every PC.
"Report Generator" was the key word here!
I am sure SmartSuite will come up with something very elegant.
