For the love of all that is good we need a way to easily copy and paste from one field to where ever. When trying to perform a simple highlight and paste (which is not possible) from a lookup field from a dashboard it not optimized for the user experience.
Something as simple a capturing an address requires opening the original record instance. I'm adding visuals for clarification here.
I'd like to hover next to a field - have an icon appear that allows me to capture the information in that field (particularly a look up field type) - have that information be saved to a clipboard - then be able to paste it elsewhere.

Agree with all! Too easy to delete when simply trying to copy email addresses, etc. from records.

Yes! When I'm in a record and want to copy data in a field, it either doesn't allow me to copy at all, or it will only let me copy if I'm editing it. It makes it really easy for someone to accidentally change the data. A copy icon for each field in the record would be really helpful.

It would be very helpful if formula fields could be copied this way! I use a formula field for filename generation, but I can't even copy the text directly. I currently have to copy the cell to notepad, then copy the text to name the file.

Currently we need to 1. Click on the record to open -> 2. Click on the email address -> 3. Select all text (and be careful to not delete it by mistake 😫) -> 4. copy

- Can you specify which fields in the app you use most frequently and would like the copy feature for?
- Are there any specific areas within the app where you find the lack of a 'copy' button particularly inconvenient?
- Would you find it useful if the app had a 'copy all' feature for certain records, or do you prefer selecting individual fields to copy?

6 Stars Cleaning Yes, currently it's time consuming. Open Open Open, sometimes you can also delete something or do mistakes as you need to actually start edit the text so you can copy it. Jon Darbyshire
