Ability to Edit Comments and Replies
Dominik Maisriemel
I would like to propose a feature improvement to enhance user experience.
Currently, it is not possible to edit a reply to a comment after it has been submitted. Additionally, it seems that the original comment can no longer be edited once a reply has been posted.
It would be highly beneficial to allow users to edit both comments and replies after posting. This would provide more flexibility and help users correct typos or misunderstandings.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I look forward to your response.

Great to hear your perspective, Dominik Maisriemel! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific scenarios or use cases do you envision where editing comments and replies would be particularly beneficial?
- Are there any limitations or restrictions you believe should be in place when editing comments or replies (e.g., time limits, version history)?
- How important is it for you to receive notifications or alerts when a comment or reply you interacted with has been edited?
Dominik Maisriemel
Jon Darbyshire - This would be useful for all comments and replies.
Restrictions are not necessarily required, but they might be helpful for comments that already have replies.
Notifications are very useful – ideally, everything should be sent via email.

I agree with this as well. It's annoying to typo and then have to keep replying to the thread. It can make threads get far too long, it can lead to confusing situations and information when trying to clarify.

Jeff Eusebio: I should clarify that this applies to comments made as a reply. There is no reaction or three-dot dropdown for those comments. I'm not sure why they even qualify as a different type of comment...

AlexM: Ah! I see now. That's strange. Upvoting!

AlexM: Suggest you edit/update your original feature request to reflect, especially the Title (since that's as far as lots of people get)
