Hi, no one really works from their calendar between 11pm and 5 am but we have to scroll when adding an event passed 00.00, 00.15, 00.30 etc. AGES... to get to a useable time. Google cal. has an extension where you can hide on the calendar and task entry points 'dead times' its super useful and removes wasted time scrolling past all these dead early hours of the morning, plus they are removded from cal view so all that white space goes.
