Ability to indent Checklist items in a SmartDoc (and convert just one bullet to a checkbox)

Bullets and numbered list items can be indented using the tab key. Switch a checkbox, and that ability goes away. Please fix this.
In addition, I often want to make one item in a long list of bullets into a checkbox (e.g. representing a To Do rather than just a informational note). When I try to change just one bullet into a checkbox, SmartSuite annoyingly changes ALL the bullets to checkboxes. Please fix this too.

+1 vote. We often find ourselves looking for workarounds to this, I'd say it's a daily frustration.

Hey Jeff Eusebio, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide an example of a document where you needed to indent a checklist item or convert a single bullet into a checkbox?
- How often do you encounter the need to indent checklist items or convert single bullets into checkboxes?
- In what scenarios or types of documents do you find these features most useful?

Jon Darbyshire Hey Jon,
Thanks for the follow-up. Happy to answer your questions:
- Example of a document: I encounter this often when drafting project checklists or task lists where some items require actions (and thus should have checkboxes) while others are informational (so they should stay as bullet points or numbers). For instance, I may have a list of tasks for a furniture project where some bullet points represent key action items (which I want to convert to checkboxes), but other bullets contain supporting information that doesn't require a checkbox.
- Frequency: It’s a pretty frequent need, especially when working on more detailed project plans or task breakdowns. Having this flexibility helps maintain clarity and organization in documents where the level of detail varies.
- Scenarios: This feature is most useful in project management documents, task lists, meeting agendas, or any To-Do lists where you need to distinguish between actionable items (checkboxes) and general notes or references (bullets).
