In certain use cases—especially in enterprise or regulated environments such as compliance, multi-office operations, or facilities management—the suite or unit number is required as part of the full address. However, the current UI permanently displays the label “Optional” next to the “Suite / Apt / Bldg” field, which:
Misleads users into skipping it when it’s actually required
Creates data quality issues, especially when address validation or downstream delivery depends on that information
Limits customization of form guidance and validation logic
Add a toggle or option in the field configuration (either in the field setup UI or via conditional logic) to mark the “Suite / Apt / Bldg” as required.
When enabled, this would:
Remove the “Optional” label
Allow validation enforcement if left blank
Optionally, mark the field with a red asterisk or similar visual cue (matching how other required fields are styled)
The attached screenshot shows the current interface where the “Suite / Apt / Bldg” line is always labeled “Optional,” even when business needs dictate otherwise.
