Ability to Send Text Messages from the Communication Center

It would be nice if SmartSuite allowed users to send text messages (SMS) directly from the Communication Center, alongside existing email functionality. This would streamline communication by giving teams the ability to reach contacts via their preferred method, especially for urgent or time-sensitive updates.
I understand this may require integration with a service like Twilio or a similar SMS platform, but even a basic setup to start with would add significant value.
This feature could be implemented as:
A “Send Text” option in the Communication Center
A customizable field for phone numbers to enable texting
Basic logging of outbound texts in the Activity Timeline or within records
Alternatively, this functionality could be made available through a third-party integration with platforms like Twilio, SimpleTexting, or similar SMS providers. Whether structured as a partnership or a native integration, the key would be for SmartSuite users to seamlessly connect their existing SMS service and have it sync directly with SmartSuite. Even if it requires a separate subscription, the ability to trigger and log SMS communications within the platform would greatly enhance workflow efficiency and communication tracking.
