Problem to Solve / Benefit:
Right now, SmartSuite doesn’t let us monitor process variation over time. Without Control Charts, it’s hard to see when a process is stable vs. when it’s going out of control.
Proposed Change:
Add a Control Chart visualization option to SmartSuite dashboards. This would let us plot data points over time with control limits (upper/lower bounds) so we can quickly detect unusual variation in our processes.
Expected Benefit
  • Easier to monitor processes for stability and improvement
  • Faster identification of problems (before they become bigger issues)
  • Supports Lean/Six Sigma practices already in use by our company
