Hi Jon,

Please see the notes below:

The idea is to trigger Zapier or Make.com to run their integration with PDF.co upon uploading the attachment to parse the pdf.
The goal is to extract data automatically out of uploaded PDFS. We are trying to extract the total price in the uploaded PDF file.
In our case it's a PDF but I believe in general it is not currently possible to run an automation based upon a file being uploaded.

Can you provide more details on the types of updates you'd like to trigger after an attachment is uploaded?
What specific integrations with pdf parser software are you interested in?
Are there any specific types of attachments that should trigger these updates?

Yes please allow A trigger to send the file uploaded to the email registered in the record.

That would be helpful to send contracts and acknowledgements.

Oh wow, I need this now! I need to send an email when a purchase order or acknowledgement is added to a record. Without Files & Images as a trigger, how in the world can I do this?

This would be really useful - use case - if form field is empty, trigger an automated email to user to remind them to complete/upload the finished pdf/form
