I would like to suggest adding the "Date Range" field to the form view. Currently, this field is not available in this view, which poses issues for certain use cases.
For example, for leave requests, it is essential to select a date range to indicate the requested leave period. Without this option, it becomes difficult to accurately enter the period, leading to potential errors and inefficient management of requests.
Additionally, the "Date Range" field would be useful for meeting room bookings. Users could specify the desired time ranges directly, simplifying the booking process and avoiding scheduling conflicts.
Furthermore, this field would be very practical for event planning. Organizers could clearly define the start and end dates of an event, aiding in resource coordination and effective communication with participants.
Adding this feature would greatly enhance the usability and flexibility of forms in SmartSuite, allowing for better management of various processes that require date range selections.

- Event Planning Form : Useful for defining the start and end dates of an event, aiding in resource management and logistical organization.
- Marketing Campaign Planning Form : To set the start and end dates of a marketing campaign, helping organize resources, plan promotional activities, and track campaign performance over a specified period.
- Project Management Form : For defining project phases or milestones. The "Date Range" field can indicate the start and end dates of different phases, helping to manage deadlines and coordinate teams.
- Equipment Rental Form : Companies can use the "Date Range" field to indicate the periods during which equipment or materials will be rented. This is particularly useful for preventing double bookings and ensuring the availability of equipment.

I only need 5 fields in a form, and the most important one is the date field (in this case the date range). You would say it is a no-brainer to pick this kind of field. But may be it is difficult to realize.

yep - forms sure do need the date field.... I would think the most basic todo list form would need a due date
