Fields like Phone & Email require an entire line on the Form currently, eating up precious vertical space. Allow the same side-by-side for fields as is supported on the Record pop-up view currently.

There should be an option to select the field width in forms, such as 1 or 2 columns like in the record view.

What specific use cases or scenarios would benefit from having 2-column sizing in forms?
Are there any particular forms or fields where this feature is most needed?
How frequently do you anticipate using the 2-column sizing option in your workflows?

Hi Jon Darbyshire, please see answers below:

2-column sizing in forms is useful for adding fields such as date, name, phone number, as well as other short text fields that don't need to take up the full width of the form
It would be useful for all forms or fields that need quick/short responses in order to reduce the time & length of scrolling through the form for the user. Visually, it would seem like less work for the user to fill out the form if it takes up less space.
I would probably use that option in every form I create. I encounter more fields that only need half-width than those that take up the full-width of the form.

The goal of this feature is to reduce scrolling and perceived effort for users to fill out forms.
