When a linked record field is used as a dynamic filter in a dashboard filter widget, the dropdown shows every record in the linked table. There's no way to apply a base filter that limits which options appear.

SmartSuite already supports this kind of control elsewhere — lookup fields can filter returned values, and linked record fields can filter selectable records. The dashboard filter widget is the gap.

Example:

A dashboard filtered by a linked "Clients" field shows every client ever created. I'd like the widget to only show Active clients (or clients with an event this year, etc.), so users pick from a relevant, manageable list.
