Auto-Floating Chapters/Table of Contents in Dashboards 🙌
Tommy Martin
Some Dashboards have several "Hero" sections as it's one long scroll that covers everything.
It would be awesome to have a floating side chapter-indicator that auto-generates from Heros and/or Header Sections. Like a clickable table of contents that shows sections to magic scroll to when clicking.
Two examples of this already: Notion & the Time Machine app.

Great to hear your perspective, Tommy Martin! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific sections or headers would you like to see included in the floating table of contents?
- How frequently do you update the content in these dashboards, and would the table of contents need to update automatically?
- Are there any specific features or functionalities from Notion or the Time Machine app that you find particularly useful for this purpose?
Tommy Martin
Jon Darbyshire Hey!
- Heros and Headers. Or Maybe combining those into one customizable module makes it easier to define Headers H1-H6
- The contents would definitely need to update automatically. It's less about adding/updating more chapters in the Dashboard, but more so being able to quickly navigate through large pages.
- Yes. There's a minimalist visual/indicator on the right side, and when hovering over you're able to select/navigate to a specific section/chapter/heading.
