In record view, there used to be a functionality where a linked record could be added inline without having to open the linked record directly. This was available if the "Allow creating new records inline" option was turned on.

In a recent update this functionality disappeared. I would really like it back as I have a few very dense records that heavily use linked records, and it's creating a lot of friction as I add new entries. Note that once I have one linked record entered I can still enter new linked records inline, but it's still not working as desired.
