Maaike de Jager: While this option is great, it would be way easier to be able to define which field to set the colors on. For example, I use my calendar to view tasks for different clients. I use individual colors for each client so I can quickly see who I am working on things for. Ideally I would define colors in a status field with each client in it, and then select that field as the one for coloring on the calendar. Using the spotlight feature, I have to manually add conditions for each client. This is not sustainable as that grows. Other people might use it for specific projects. Defining the colors in multiple places as things change just isn't very scalable.
