Currently, a SmartSuite form can only be filled and submitted by a single respondent. In a corporate environment, form inputs are frequently owned by multiple people or teams, and no single person holds all the required information.

Impact / pain points

No co-authoring: Different sections often need input from different SMEs, but they cannot contribute to the same form in progress.

No handover: If the primary respondent is unavailable (e.g., on holiday or has left the team), the form cannot be shared or reassigned — a new form must be started from the beginning, losing all prior input.

Lost effort & delays: Restarting duplicates work, delays assessments, and creates version/data-integrity issues.

Requested capability

Allow a form submission to be collaboratively completed and reassigned, specifically:

Multi-contributor input — invite multiple users/teams to fill different parts of the same in-progress form.

Reassign / delegate — the original recipient can hand the form to a colleague or another team without losing entered data.

Save & resume — a shared draft any authorised contributor can continue from where the last person left off.
