We would like the ability to compare two or more records in a side by side 1:1 field for field view or new field type. Using and inventory item as a scenario, if as a user one was to select 2 or more records and ask to "compare fields" then (while this possible with formulas -ish) those record fields would show the perhaps the price difference between widget A and widget B or display the where widget A has a yes/no field type response of Yes and widget B has a response of No.
