Conditional Logic in Automations

I am struggling with the lack of conditional logic in automations. I need an automation to check if a person's name exists in another table and update a status field accordingly. Currently, the automation shows an error in the history if a record is not found, which is confusing. I would like the ability to handle the result conditionally without generating an error, or at least have a more specific message like 'record not found.'

This is my MOST needed Automation improvement. I have a lot of forms in circulation and I want my Automations to see if the person (or whatever) already exists in a table and if they do, "update" the record; but, if they don't, then create the record.

Absolutely necessary to organize automations properly and avoid duplication. A well-organized environment avoids errors and various problems.
