This is not dissimilar to my request https://smartsuite.canny.io/feature-requests/p/collapseexpand-bulleted-lists-in-smartdocs

Garrett Clawson Can you help me understand how you would like to use this feature. Would the toggle be linked to specific content, or just a standalone toggle. Any use cases would also be very useful as we think about this. Also, do you know of any other products that provide a feature like this that we could review?
Garrett Clawson
Jon Darbyshire: Hey Jon! This would just be a toggle accessible by the slash command (similar to a number or bulleted list). I'm coming from Notion, so I've attached a screenshot of what I have in mind. I think this would be really helpful for meeting notes that are long and difficult to navigate without the ability to collapse subsections of information. Let me know if I can share anything else that may be helpful!

Garrett Clawson: Got it. I was way off track on what you were asking for. We do provide a similar feature now that will do this for you. I have included a couple of screenshots to show this in action. Here is now it works now:
When you select any of the heading styles (H1-H6) we auto enable a toggle concept that shows on hover of the heading. Anything between this heading and the next heading can be toggled on or off to hide or display the content below. When you close the toggle by default, we then always show the toggle to the left of the heading to show that you can open to see the content.
This does work for what you are wanting, but it is a few extra clicks to set it up. Please try it out and let me know if you feel it would still be good to include this in the / menu as well as an option like Notion is doing.

Jon Darbyshire: Ah, I see what you mean. I've been playing around with it for the past day, but in transparency, I don't think it's particularly intuitive. The current design is different than I've seen it in any other productivity platform (e.g., Notion, ClickUp), and I often find myself just wanting to create a toggle on the fly with normal text. You don't necessarily want every header to be a toggle, either, so having the flexibility to apply the toggle when I want on whatever text would be nice.
This would be a "nice-to-have", but as a consultant shareable dashboards would be my top ask. :)
Garrett Clawson
Jon Darbyshire: Just wanted to let you know that the more I play with this, the more I like the current solution. I think it would still be nice to have a separate toggle option for normal text, but I like the toggle built into headers.
