Custom Date/Time Formats

I just wanted to also request that we can have the ability to format the date to NOT include time. I find when I pull in a date via Make.com, it will add a 00 timestamp, making all my records looks something like 'Mar 2 at 12:00am'. I can manually delete the time, but I would prefer to set the format without a time so it will always just show the date, despite having a time associated.

Yes, this seems like a very basic function that is missing in SmartSuite right now.

Whether we can do this by having more display format, or by formulas, it will be great to be able to format dates like
- Saturday, October 05, 2024
- Sat, October 05, 2024
- Sat, Oct 05, 2024
- Oct 05, 2024
- October 05, 2024
And all the possibilities/combination to be able to fully customize formatting a date.
* Additional: We also need the option to show/hide the current year.
Currently, the system displays the year only when it's not the current year
For example, it'll display
Sat, October 05 (if it's 2024, current year)
and Sat, October 05, 2023 or Sat, October 05, 2025 and many users would like to see the current year as well.

Totally agree. I was MUCH surprised that I couldn't even use the DATE_FORMAT like other tools. For example the choice to do "DD MMM-YYYY" for ex. 12 Mar-2024 or "DDD, DD MMM" for Fri, 12 Mar.

I will second this. For me, for example, I do a lot of things where all I want to record is a MM/YYYY or even just a year format. This would be a very helpful feature!

dd/mm/yyyy with HH:MM 24 hours would be great :)

Dutch time format is dd/mm/yyyy
