Ability to switch between dark and light mode is getting more common. It would be great to have that switch in SmartSuite so that people can comfortably work with the product in the nighttime without straining their eyes. Linking the theme to system preferences or even time of the day would be even better.

how is this still under review? it's September 2026! I'm sorry but browser extensions are not a suitable replacement.
Jon Darbyshire can we get an update? I saw your question from 3 years ago but we're all paying a lot of money here. I'm implementing the professional plan which is $2500 per year. Literally every other application, on my three desktops are all in dark mode... except the one i use the most. Do you not use darkmode on your other applications? Try it and then you might see why we are all so passionate. 
A genuine concern though is why this has been outstanding for soooo many years with hundreds of upvotes and yet features are in progress or being released with less than 10 upvotes and were in the queue for a short period. This signals that the company either a) doesn't know how to do this or b) doesn't care about customer requests.

As the screen font used is in very thin characters I get blinded by the white background working hours on my projects. I am asking to have a dark theme and, if possible, slightly more readable fonts (for older persons like me !)

I find it very upsetting that the option for Dark Mode doesn't exist. Very much hoping SmartSuite devs come to their senses and introduce this basic functionality.

I am very surprised by how Smartsuite handles their valuable customers.
In short, this thread shows that many are interested in a dark mode option. Despite several attempts from customers in this thread, there is no answer or update. And the topic has been under review for 3 years? I find that, as someone who does not yet pay for Smartsuite, very worrying. If customers are being ignored, what does it look like in the rest of the Smartsuite universe?
I see there has just been a graphic update (Redesigned Home Page: Smarter Navigation, Better Organization) and here dark mode is not part of the new ones.
Are customers there to help Smartsuite or is Smartsuite there to help customers?
My concern and the way customers are being ignored has made me choose ClickUp.

Jon Darbyshire, any progress on this request. I enjoy using SmartSuite but while building out my solutions, the white screen is hard on my eyes. Also the expanded apps are difficult to see due to the grey background, the fields look whitewashed.

Please implement this soon! I noticed this is a request from 2 years ago. All the white from SmartSuite is hard on the eyes when looking at it all day. Coming from ClickUp which I used in Dark Mode exclusively, it makes me sad I can't put SmartSuite in Dark Mode as well.
