Drill Down for Empty Lookup Fields

Hi Jon Darbyshire. Any update on this? Drill Down for empty Count fields is also needed. We use the Count field a lot, and it is super easy to edit linked records thru the count column. But if I want to add a record, that is not possible.
Use case:
We organise concert venues. For a concert we have a Guest list table. We can see the number of guest in Count column linked to the guest list table.
If a concert does not have any guests linked, it is not possible to add new ones thru the Drill Down in the Count column. If this was possible, it would save a lot of time, and it would be easier to add guests straight from the Count column.

I just found this feedback, and that is what I need: https://feedback.smartsuite.com/feature-requests/p/count-field-add-new-records

Thank you for posting, Jeffrey Parsons! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide a specific example of a situation where you wanted to drill down on an empty lookup but couldn't?
- How frequently do you encounter situations where you need to drill down on empty lookups?
- What impact would this feature have on your overall workflow?

Jon Darbyshire Can you provide a specific example of a situation where you wanted to drill down on an empty lookup but couldn't? I've never been able to drill down on an empty field. Use cases for us are plentiful. For example, I have a lookup for an appointment with a client. For clients who don't have an appointment, being able to drill down to their record and set an appointment saves a great deal of time in terms of steps.
How frequently do you encounter situations where you need to drill down on empty lookups? Daily.
What impact would this feature have on your overall workflow? This feature would make our workflow much smoother. Instead of having to jump between tables to add new data, we could manage it from the table with the lookup data. It also removes some unintuitiveness from the current system. Double clicking to open data, only to have it not work on empty fields is frustrating.
