Duplicate checklists through automation

My use case is a milestone-based workflow where automation creates a new record in another table for the next stage. All necessary fields transfer automatically with an automation, but the checklist must be copied manually.
Each job has a unique list of products entered in its checklist, so a default checklist or template would not work. Allowing automation to duplicate the existing checklist into the new record would save time and prevent items from being missed.

Essential for our use case of copying template tasks to a new project. It seems strange that checklists behave differently to other fields in automations (in that they cannot be duplicated) - Brian Dollen do you think this would be an easy fix?

Not sure what the use case is here, but have you considered using a default checklist that populates when a new task is created?

Joe Sasson: If it's along the lines of what I'm thinking (and hoping for) is the ability to templatize certain elements, rather than (or in addition to) the entire task/record.
