My real job is an architect... I coordinate the BIM part of design and construction projects. I deal with 1000's of emails & text messages from sometimes over a 100 people over a 1-5 year design project. NO ONE has a good solution to organize this chaos. Tracking communication by record could revolutionize this problem. I would love to work close with you on solving this problem!

I have the same issue, I ran a training company and I have to be audited every year for quality purposes (like an ISO). They check that the communication and feed back from the customer was constant, but there is no way to track that in Smartsuite. I'm coming from click up where each "record"that they call a task has its own Email address, so worst case scenario you can forward or BCC the task for it to keep a record. Thta would be the missing feature for me for Smartsuite to be able to use it for my audits. Click Up has also an email address per solution. I use it when I create an invoice, it BCC the app for billing and hop I get y attachment automatically in a new record. It can t be hard to programm since every record has its own ID, all that is needed is to have another ID that would be in the form of an email address.

Gary Ford AND per record. To give the smartsuite team some context and used case, every year some auditor come to heck that I respected quality guidelines for the trainings my company gives. This includes checking that I ve dully noted the needs of the customer, that I ve requested some info from him to adapt the program, that I sent him a pre training test to check his knowledge, a post training one to see the improvment and a bunch of evaluation he has to give me about the training for improvements. Now all this has to be DOCUMENTED, I can t just say, yes I did it, I have to show him that it was done. Most of these back and forth are done through email, but when the auditor come, unless we have to dig in my mail box like some archeologist, I show him my click up "record" equivalent, that stores in the comment section all the email I ve forwarded to the record. This way all I have to do is open the record of the training, open the communication panel and tell him, here is everything, my "source of truth" if you want. If smartsuite could implement such a thing that would be great. Another use case> you re a lawyer, or an arhitect, you need to have your clients send you info about a particular case or project, all you have to tell them is send their email to the email address of the record, or BCC it and you will have all the info and correspondance in the record itself without having to switch between software, which is today's Pain in the you know where. Everyone specialise, and so we end up using 15 software a day which drives us all nuts. The idea of a smartsuite or click up or notion somehow is to have a go to place to manage your business, I guess. At least it's my opinion.

I have a similar use case and this would be a game changer. Tracking communications over long projects is a nightmare.
