Open comments without opening the whole record

There is a similar request here... but I am trying to keep everything as clean and simple as possible for our executive leadership and owners as they only access SmartSuite to view reports. I believe if they want more information on a report they are seeing that it would be helpful for them to open the comments- without opening the entire record and having to know to look to the right to see them. My biggest challenge with SmartSuite is creating clean reports for our executive team.

- Their are widgets available for most of the reports I need- rollup fields, counts of goal vs actual- last 7 days, last 30 days, etc... Month to date and YTD would also be great to have, as I am having to build these out manually and update them manually every calendar month. The widgets just take up too much room..... Also in the new format I am using, I need that data to be dynamic and specific to the record that is chosen, so I'm having trouble getting some of those metrics into a field on the record so that I can use the record display/record selector widgets. The record selector/ record display widgets have been a game changer with reporting! Excellent work! THANK YOU!
- Cleaning up reports would be the ability to eliminate some of the dead space/ margins between fields... I forget the correct term.... I'm trying to fit a lot of data in a small space so they don't have to do much clicking or scrolling. The widget on the right called "metrics" needs to show a lot more information, but it will take up too much space to include 8-10 fields .
I would collapse some of these widgets by default... .but they would have the options to... 1.expand it, 2.open the record, 3.view the comments or 4.open it to full screen. That's just too many options for them :) and I would only use that feature if it could only the option for them to expand it.
Thanks!

Actually, I just noticed the planned dashboard widget for comments, and that should do the trick :)

Great to hear your perspective, Carla Williams! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on what specific information you would like to see in the comments section?
- What kind of reports are your executive team most interested in?
- What features would make the report 'cleaner' for your executive team?
