Fields / Sections to Display in Many Tabs in Record View
Nate Montgomery @ SmartSuite
Ability for certain fields/sections to appear across multiple tabs (sticky fields).
Why it’s important:
Keeps key context (e.g. stage, header info, critical fields) visible no matter which tab you’re in.
Reduces user confusion — prevents “where am I?” moments when jumping tabs.
Improves workflow speed since users don’t need to tab-hop for core details.
Supports consistency: ensures high-priority info is always front and center.

Fields visible in multiple Record Tabs

In short: Allow record fields to be visible in multiple tabs to freely design workflows.
Detailed version:
We want to create a Journey for User Stories in Agile Development.
Therefore we want to use the new conditional tab logic (which is awesome!!!).
However we want to display the same fields in multiple tabs to organize relevant information and cluster them.
For example we want to have one tab for "Creation" of new user stories that shows all relevant fields that should be filled out initially.
We have "Preparatory Tasks" there.
Once those are all ticked, the tab should disappear (conditional logic) and another tab for the actual development should appear.
However that tab needs to have similar fields (maybe in a different order/display) as the initial tab.

This is an important one!

Nate one other way to do this is to have a section that is fixed with common fields and then the tabs below this fixed section. Here is an example in one of the other software programs we use.

Totally Agree with this requirement,
Tabs are a fantastic innovation forvthe record view but significantly under achieving without this feature
