Group Filter on Dashboards

Group filtering (And / Or having the capability to be grouped) is available on the "report toolbars" at the view level. Strangely it is not on dashboards (only simple filtering for instance on Summary Cards or comparison metrics) - It would be good to have a unified version of filtering across the entire platform. It also obliges the solution owner to develop unnecessary custom code pieces to get the user experience results already achieved at the view level

- Can you provide examples of the types of groups you would like to filter by on the dashboards?
- Could you elaborate on the specific user experience results you are trying to achieve with this feature?
- Are there any specific custom code pieces you've had to develop that you believe should be standard features?

Hello Jon Darbyshire - Regarding your questions:
#1 the exact same functionality that we have in the "Report Toolbar" -Basically grouping the And / Or booleans so we can create more complex filters but also some basic ones like "Condition is true if (A and ("B or C")) are true - Basically just as it exists in the report toolbar is perfect :) :)
#2 The capacity to have more complex "grouped filters" allows to show the proper information especially with "Metrics" widgets
#3 No I do not think so - I just created additional (what I called dev fields" just to find a workaround which most of the time is supported by a piece of automation but this is immediately obsolete if the "group filter" feature is in place :)
