This would be nice but in fairness, anything dealing with emails is a drama.
I use Relay into SS. Parsing it along the way, bit of AI. The hard part to consider is that GMail and Outlook are different beasts.
Attachments are not so bad.
Like to see this but it is hard. So don't beat yourself up.

Can an estimate be implemented for Outlook?
Already through Gmail it no longer works and I have blocked all my clients. Gmail doesn't integrate at all anymore, it's been totally non-functional for almost a month now.
I lost some of my clients because the product I recommended caused them damage! Now I'm sorry too...
I hope you will implement the integration with Outlook sooner and that it will work, not like in the case of Gmail....

Love that this is in progress. This may be somewhere else in the feature requests: When you "reply" in the mobile app, it makes it a comment and not an email.

I would add having the ability to reply to an email within the communication center and have it appear from your personal or business email address instead of a generic email address like "@smartsuite-inbox.com" can be a valuable feature. This can help to create a more seamless and professional communication experience for both the sender and recipient.
By allowing employees to reply directly from the communication center, they can save time by not having to switch between different email platforms or applications. It also helps to keep all relevant communication in one place, which can make it easier to keep track of conversations and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.

Jon Darbyshire This feature has been marked as “in progress” since July 2022. We are now in January 2026 - 3.5 years later - and there is still no delivery or meaningful update. Could you please provide a status update?
The ability to manually create a task from an email via a simple button click (not through automation) should, in my view, be a much higher priority than many other features, given how fundamental this capability is to daily workflows.
I’ll be transparent: based solely on Canny, my initial perception of SmartSuite was rather negative, as the roadmap felt stale and lacked a sense of active ownership. However, after watching many of the “What’s New” videos and seeing how deeply involved you are in the product’s development, my perception changed completely. It restored a lot of confidence and significantly improved my overall view of SmartSuite. I would encourage you to assign someone to clean up Canny.
