Any update on increasing the file limit??

Ryan Walburn: Thanks for the follow up. Could you give us more context for the use case? How many files would be transferred and how frequently? I'm just wanting to collect some information that I can use in a technical discussion around infrastructure limits like this. Thanks!

Peter Novosel Thanks for getting back with me. Use case: This would be for sending proofs back and forth to clients and then to the Print Vendor. When files are larger than 3 MB the files will not attach to the automation. Most of our files are CMYK production files, and are themlarger that the 3MB limit when sending automations. As a result, we are still manually downloading and attaching the file to send to the client with a form email that we copy and paste with all of the job information. When it comes to the numbers, we send 2-3 proofs per edit rounds with the client, then we send the 1-25MB file(s) to the printer. So far in 2025, we have about 917 jobs within that range and have sent at least 3 emails for each with attachments. If I calculate the time savings we would have had this year without having to download the files and create emails, I come up with about 2500 mins or 40hrs saved. Translated to cost for me, that's $1500 in contract labor. Please reach out to me if you have more questions.
