Make "Date" & "Date Range" Field Types ONE FieldType

Having a separate Date Range field creates the need for 2 different field types. Makes unwieldy when I am calendaring dates (is this one day or a multi-day event).

Calendar is based on the dates of the Due Date field. The Due Date Field can already have start and finish dates. Instead of having two separate fields, it would make more sense to have the Pill (Date Range format) be one of the formats in Due Date. Date Range Field will then be unnecessary. Feels like it should not be a difficult change.
