In addition to the column options already available, I'd like the ability to further customize the record modal layout to better utilize screen space.

Ex: Three column display that utilizes more of the available screen.

The 70/30 layout has been enhanced and now any field can be placed in the 70 section (previously it only allowed "wide" fields to be placed there.

With Tabs, Sections, and Conditional logic this all gives a solid toolset to customize layouts.

Artem Kunytsia it would be great if 2 small fields could be placed side by side within the 70 side, that would achieve the original request for 3 columns.

Would also like to see the ability to customize the 70/30 layout to choose which fields go to the smaller column. I realize it's restricted by the prescribed width of the field but being to move any field in or out of either column would make that layout option more useful.

Jon Darbyshire, not sure if this is the right post to put this in, but would it be possible to reduce the layout resoultion or zoom out to see a more comprehensive view of records? Also, I think there should be an option to reduce the row size to a "tight" level leaving very little padding space around text within the cells.

I argue at times that the layout customization of Smartsuite over Airtable is one of its major advantages! Anyway to lean hard into this seals the deal for me.

It would be nice if fields could be broken across horizontal tabs also to reduce vertical scrolling:

Jon Darbyshire: Jon Darbyshire: It would also be fantastic if the record layout allowed for side-by-side collapsible categories, I added a screenshot of a Notion layout that looks similar to what I'm talking about. Notion's layout is a little messy, with line dividers that don't line up side-by-side, it would be amazing to see that done in SmartSuite's sleeker and more visually appealing layout.

So basically multiple columns of collapsible categories where record fields are organized.
