Newest on top in communication center

Allow admin & user to change the sort order in the communication center. I would expect to see newest emails on top where they can be immediately seen. Seeing the oldest on top means I have to scroll every single time I want to read what's new.

Having the option to sort this way would be very helpful. I really like and want to use the comms area much more but struggle to scroll to the bottom to see what is current... Thanks!

Hiya Jeff Eusebio, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you clarify if you would like this sorting feature to be a permanent change or an option that can be toggled on and off?
- Are there any other areas in the system where you would like to see this sorting feature implemented?
- Would you find it useful to have additional sorting options, such as by sender or subject line?

Hi Jon Darbyshire !
#1. An option/toggle. My employees are requesting that every email sent about a project be stored in SmartSuite, and a project at the header level is one record, so we could end up with hundreds of emails on one record. In Outlook, I'm used to seeing conversations grouped with the newest on top. In Google mail, I'm used to seeing conversations with newest on the bottom. Both do a good job making the newest unread message visually obvious and both make it keyboard-shortcut easy to catch up marking all as read. Read emails should be collapsed like in google mail, unread should stay open, replies should be grouped into conversations.
#3. A find/filter feature would be much more important, but a sort option could be helpful.
#2. Indirectly, yes. Emails remain the lifeblood of business. If emails have been received that the system couldn't match to a project, I want the ability to review those for potentially lost customer communication. If an email is stuck in the outbox, I want visibility to it. As a busines owner, I want to see "all emails from/to Employee A". In other words, what would be truly magnificent is a modern email inbox where the linked database record is simply another attribute assigned to the email. Then I could sort (or filter) based on anything over any period of time, project, customer, employee, etc.
