Power Search on Mobile
Joe Sasson
Currently, mobile search is limited to a single view, which means that if someone wanted to open up the mobile app and quickly find a record, they would have to first navigate to that solution, then to the app, then to the view, then run the search.
If the power search feature that is currently available on the desktop would function the same way on mobile, it would lead to a far better User Experience.

Power Search for Mobile App

Using Power Search on desktop is honestly one of my favorite and very useful features. However, when I switch to the mobile app, it's just not there — and I really feel the gap.
It would be a game-changer to have a mobile version of Power Search — something as simple as a tap, with the same powerful search experience I get with Ctrl+K on desktop.
I'm not asking for anything fancy — just the ability to quickly search across my workspace from my phone, the same way I can on my computer. Other apps like Notion and Slack have nailed this on mobile, and I think SmartSuite can too.
Would love to see this on the roadmap!

Universal Search on mobile is absolutely essential for our day-to-day operations.
When working on the go, navigating through multiple solutions, apps, and specific views just to find a single record takes too much time and disrupts efficiency. Having the same desktop Power Search functionality on mobile would completely transform the user experience and make data truly accessible from anywhere. Please prioritize this!

I am considering SS, leaving Click Up. The app seems so well conceived, and it's NOT SLOW LIKE CU. Lacking a universal search on the mobile is a deal breaker, though. No way I am scrolling dozens of folders and even more lists to find a record or expecting others to find records I created. What good is data collection if it's hard to locate? It's 2023 -- we're way past the expectation of a universal search for records, for mobile or desk top. Otherwise, the app is excellent and I hope it takes market share from CU, which has to be the slowest and buggiest app ever, at scale.

As a primarily mobile user this is an obvious feature request that would make the app SO much easier to use!
