Prefill Filter Condition when adding records inline

inside of grid view, with a filter condition set, I want SmartSuite to prefill a record I add from the inline add new record button with the value from the filter condition.
I.e. If I have a filter set where 'Single Select' is exactly "Type 1"
When I add a record inline, I want that record to have Single Select value of Type 1. That way it does not disappear immediately (when it is filtered out) when I create it.

Any update on this feature? Def a pain to have to back out of the filtered view to add the field values in order for it to appear in the filtered view you are already in. It would be much better if the new record in the filtered view would take on the attributes of the applied filters.

Good- Airtable behaviour as well. That way you don't have to remove filter, display your records, and then reapply the filter or some variation of this.
