Rich Text Link Pasting Behavior

If I highlight text and paste a link, I would like the highlighted link text to be maintained.

Also, it would be nice if I can toggle on/off the option to include favicons. (Including in places like HTML blocks in forms, SmartDocs, etc)

Minor request, but in the interest of saving an extra click for a frequent task :)

In SmartDocs - I would love to create formatted links by typing a text label, highlighting that text, then pasting the link. Here's an example of how it works in Slack, and other tools like Coda do the same.

Are there any specific scenarios where this feature would be particularly beneficial?
