Use Case:

I have a Calendar view to show availability to clients. This is triggered/automated from a personal calendar. If I check a custom field, it populates a dummy record in my availability calendar. I share it with clients. All they can do is view the calendar. They can not click into the dummy records, but they can view to see if I am available on a given day. It's a work in progress, but effective thus far.
