Share tables to other solutions
Carla Williams
I have weekly check-ins with everyone who reports to me that I log into a table. I filter views by each person. I would like to be able to share each of those views so that they can show up as a table they can use out of the solutions they work out- without having to use a dashboard. I would like for them to have a table called "weekly check-ins" on their solutions where I can just share their filtered view without having to use a dashboard and set up a new filtered view.

Synchronised table (editable view)

Hey.
I have a suggestion that I believe more people would appreciate. I am working with risk management that I want to record in multiple Solutions.
My idea is that the "Risk" table (app) would be primarily in the "Risk Management" solution, but I could directly display this table as a table in the "Projects" or "Orders" solutions. I know that this can be solved with Linked Record within record, possibly in the dashboard, but it would be useful to display the table (with the possibility to set a filter) also as one of the tables (Apps).

Hiya Filip Konečný, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific filters would you like to apply to the 'Risk' table when displayed in other solutions?
- How frequently do you need the data in the 'Risk' table to be updated across different solutions?
- Are there any specific permissions or access controls you would need for users viewing the 'Risk' table in other solutions?

Jon Darbyshire,
Hi Jon,
Ad 1) all records (something like synced view - the ability to synchronously edit wherever the table is used). There might by filter option in view
Ad 2) Immediately, it would be a editable view (something like synced blocks in noteplan https://help.noteplan.co/article/138-synced-blocks)
Ad 3) That's a question I can't answer yet, but it should probably come from the primary Solution where the table would be stored
Thanks for the quick reply, by the way :-)

Jon Darbyshire I have a similar thought bubble but i think its a simple solution.
I have wondered WHY the linked record tables dont have the kenetic smarts that other views have to do the same view control groups , sorts and filters.
Now that we have the fantastic dashboard smarts.
It would be awesome to be able to create multiple entries of the same linked record data but filtered to unique settings .

Hey Carla Williams, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you clarify if you want the shared tables to be editable by the people you share them with or should they only have view access?
- Do you envision this feature to be used for sharing with individuals, groups, or both?
- Would you like the ability to revoke access to the shared tables at any time?
