Web search and file attachments in AI Field Agents and AI Workflow Agents now work on every connected model provider, not only OpenAI, including Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic, Google Gemini, xAI, Perplexity, IBM watsonx and nscale. Providers with their own search use it; for the others SmartSuite runs the search itself. Searched answers show the web pages they were built from, image and PDF attachments work on non-OpenAI connections, and internet-access controls are hidden for models that cannot search.
