The social networks for LinkedIn url prefix is defaulting to linkedin.com/in which is fantastic for individuals. However when I try to use it on the account record and enter in the company's page URL I'm unable to use the field because the default prefix for a company is Linkedin.com/company

I also advocate for the possibility of custom social accounts, uploading an icon, because no one will have the same needed channels.

And on an UX point of view, displaying only the icons of channels that have a link

Agree below we need TikTok, Spotify but Also discord for all of us in the new adventure known as Web3!! I see Youtube below but it does not show up on socials now

Please also update the existing icons to match the current icons being used today. In addition, I would love to see SoundCloud, Spotify, X (formerly Twitter), and Tiktok

Hello Monica Sharman, 
Here's how we are planning to implement this:
LinkedIn will become flexible in accepting all types of profiles (you can see they first screen shows and individual link, while the second one leads to SmartSuite's corporate profile).
Same goes for YouTube – both User and Channel types will be accepted.
Please, let us know if this solves the use case.

it should be best if we could add any social channel (with the freedom to upload any icon as recognition, so we can add all important channels we need

For this level of flexibility you may want to use the Link field type. 
Just be sure to select Link with Favicon display format. 
In this case SmartSuite will autodetect and display the icon of the website.

Artem Kunytsia: Thanks ! This is the workaround I've been using for now. It works, then the only great thing would be able to display the icons only in the field, to have the same nice visual appearance of the social field.
