Another use case: I use sub-items to input the day-to-day schedule for students in their clinical placement record. I would love if I could filter, say all the shifts onto a calendar view that I could make public to my clinical partners to see when the students are coming. Right now, I still have to create a manual google sheet.

Use Case:
I want to add a primary care physician as a contact. Each appointment would be a sub-item that would have a due date. I can also see the dates of previous appts because of the previous due dates. This is important if you want to look back to see when a doctor prescribed something to your children.
Sub-tasks with due dates provide the history of a primary task/record. Not only do we have the date, but the information inside the sub-task.

yes! all the assigned tasks should be found on the calendar, regardless whether it is from MyWork, Items, sub-items and checklist should be traceable in the calendar view!
