Seconded. As a researcher looking into using Smartsuite as a database to store scientific data, it'd be great to have an option to create a table from scratch without the default fields (Assigned To, Priority, Status, Due Date). Looking forward to it since Airtable is really overpriced for our needs.

I agree completely. How about this: allow a user to create an app and then flag it as a template app that the user could then select when creating a new app. Could be very, very helpful.

Jon Darbyshire: Yes that would be might vote too. Or crazy thought maybe the option to choose between the default setting or "blank" app. 
That way if people want to create a task-focused app they don't always have to go through the effort of creating those fields. And the people who create non-task-oriented apps don't have to delete them.
Is it possible to make everyone happy? HEHE!

I second that… it’s a waste of 3 minutes every time I create a new app.
