When opening a record that has media or files attached. There appears to be no way to download all files or multiple files at once. In our properties application, clients upload 10-120 pieces of content, downloading 1 by 1 is a big undertaking. Also, the ability to rename uploaded files in smartsuite would be cool.

I would like to be able to edit Lookup fields to override data in the linked record and have the linked record value updated. Ex: I use a lookup field to get "guest count" from the original form submission field but after subsequent correspondence learn that the count has changed to a new number.

I would like to see a date only field, without the option to enter a time or disable it in the field settings (similar to Airtable). I have separate time fields and is confusing if a collabrater thinks they need to enter the time with the date vs. in the time fields i created. Thanks

The count field is being enhanced to support a drill-through capability, similar to the functionality that SmartSuite supports for chart views. When you click on the count, a dialog will display the underlying records that contribute to the count. These records will in turn be clickable, allowing the user to view the entirety of the supporting record(s).

It would be nice to have the ability to limit a user to select a certain number of items in multiple select field type.

We have a need to use a specific group of checklist items depending on the type of project that we are working on. The current Checklist field type is extremely useful for us in that it auto tracks percentage complete and allows us to assign owners and due dates. We also like the way it is easy to see all checklist items at one time. Our request is to allow the setup of checklist templates from within the checklist field type. Maybe on the default tab of the field settings page. This would eliminate the need to use 3 different checklist fields in the same record when we only need to complete one of these.

In order for SmartDocs to be useful to us we really need it to 1) be standalone and not a field type, which I know is already on the roadmap (yay!) but 2) that editing can happen by concurrent users while all are viewing the doc.

Now that we've got help text working in grid view for other fields, it would be great to have it for the Record Title field as well. Not sure why it's NOT there, but I find Help text for primary column/field very useful in Airtable for two reasons: Sometimes it's not obvious to my users what the title field represents. And sometimes I myself want to be able to write some help text to remind ME what it represents. Not a pants-on-fire urgent need but thought I'd throw it into the wishing well.

In single and multiple choice fields, it would be super helpful to allow the user to enter data after making a choice. Simplest example is the "Other" option where you give the user 4 choices but they want to add their own answer. [ ] 42”H [ ] 50”H [ ] 65”H [ ] OTHER ___________ But it would be truly useful as an option next to every option. E.g. ⭕Installer: ______________ ⭕Customer: ______________ ⭕Will Call ⭕Other: ____________
