id like to have a buttom that alolows for testing the automoation. Currently i have to eitehr wait for the schedule time or make a change in record etc to ensure irt runs proeprly.

I'm trying to create automations that repeat until conditions are right. For instance, it would be nice to build an automation that can create every Tuesday in the month of August or create "x" amount of records based off a number in a field, or create every day in the month of July and link it to other records matching certain conditions. One thing I am trying to do is create a basic scheduling app that I can schedule clients or teachers for the next 10 weeks (or whatever) and bill them based off of the number of scheduled meetings.

Would be awesome to trigger automation by pushing a button (the ones in smartsuite...)

Need to add an ability to support icons that are used in SmartSuite fields to be rendered in Generate PDF automation action. As an example I might have icons in the Status / Single Select fields that I want to be present in the PDF that I generate with automations

Visibility into how native automations are configured and executed is critical for ensuring process consistency, risk mitigation, and compliance (especially in regulated industries like healthcare). I’m requesting the ability to access native SmartSuite automation metadata via the public API or through an exportable JSON format. This would enable teams to centrally document and audit automations at scale - without relying on manual tracking. Ideal data points would include automation name, trigger type, conditions, actions, associated apps/tables, and timestamps. This enhancement would significantly improve automation governance and scalability across SmartSuite workspaces.

To be able to use conditional logic around the actions in an automation similar to Airtable, ie not in the trigger but in the body of the auto.

Is there a possibility to add 4 extra features in the Repeating/Recurring Task settings options: Repeating Task is based on actual 'Completion Date' (not the Due Date that was entered). Repeating/Recurring Task is based on the actual 'Due Date' (no matter when the task was completed. Create a setting that will allow us to either 'Show all future Repeating Tasks', OR 'Only Show the Next Recurring Task' after the current task is complete. Note: Other applications that have these features are very handy for those of us that plan out our Weekly and Monthly Calendars and Planners. Showing All future recurring tasks gives a great visual representation. Any chance of being able to have similar options when Deleting Repeating/Recurring Tasks (Google Calendar has this feature): Delete Repeating Task : This Task : This & Following Tasks : All Tasks

I would like to have "Changes" added to the conditions options for Date field types like most other fields have. Right now, Date field types do not allow me to do something like this reference image which is an Address field type.

Ability to add an Action that automatically runs a script in the background to perform a specific set of actions/tasks within SmartSuite using the SmartSuite API or in another product using their API. A javascript-type scripting language would be preferred for this, making it easy for users who are already familiar with javascript to easily create scripts. It would be great to have a number of popular libraries available as well to make external REST calls, format data, perform complex calculations and logically evaluate data. All data from the trigger and previous actions should be accessible from the script in variables exposed to the script. Security is important as well - the script execution should be "sandboxed" to ensure that the script can't be used to perform malicious actions or access private data. Custom scripts could be used to extend SmartSuite's existing automation logic, giving the configuring Solution Manager access to custom logic that would otherwise not be available. You could use a script to access an external system, provide it with SmartSuite data, and then take an action based on that system's response. This capability would allow you to extend automations to incorporate any sort of custom data manipulation, evaluation or formatting required for a particular workflow - all without introducing another external technology or requiring another subscription and additional cost.

Automations are complicated. After spending time setting up and testing, I want to be able to save a "point in time" for later reference. I don't need to be able to import, I just want to see and reference how they were set up. I'm taking screen shots now of each section but that's slow and tedious. Any kind of export would be appreciated.
